Where vintage kitsch meet curious stuff - a place to find vintage goods and vintage inspired artwork.
I’m Elaine and I make things, collect things and sell things.
I have been collecting all sorts of things, some of them kitsch, some of them curious, since I was a teenager. My many weird and wonderful collections inspire my work. My photo collages and assemblage artworks draw on my love of colour and pattern, toys and kitsch ornaments, quirky miniatures and printed ephemera.
I also sell vintage items as my collections of vintage china, fabrics, books, cards and jewellery keep outgrowing the available space and I have to thin them out. It's great when things find a new home and bring enjoyment to other people too. I mostly sell on Etsy and you can get updates on my Instagram @kitschandcurious.
